Case Studies and Success Stories

We had the privilege of commissioning the brand new 10kW single-phase hybrid inverter from Sungrow. This revolutionary product is the first of its kind to be installed in South Australia, and we are thrilled to be a part of this project.

Beta Testing

Being a trusted partner for many Sungrow installs, we were chosen to conduct the first beta testing for this cutting-edge inverter. The system comprises of two 19.2 kilowatt stacks of batteries, feeding into the hybrid ten (10kW) inverter, complemented by an additional 15kW of grid-tied inverter capacity. With a total of 32.5 kilowatts of PV (photovoltaic) on the roof, the new SH10.0RS Inverter promises to be a game-changer in the renewable energy landscape.

Unmatched Backup Power

One of the key features that sets this inverter apart from others, is its outstanding continuous power supply during blackouts. The Sungrow 10kW hybrid inverter boasts an impressive 14.5 kilowatts of backup power, making it the strongest single-phase backup inverter available on the market. This feature ensures that essential appliances and devices can still function during power outages, providing homeowners and businesses with much-needed peace of mind.

Seamless Integration and Support

The integration of an inverter and battery from the same company offers distinct advantages. In the case of a fault or issue, having both components from Sungrow simplifies the troubleshooting process, as customers can make a single phone call to get assistance. This comprehensive solution minimises potential finger-pointing that can arise when using third-party inverters and batteries.

Testing Outcomes

We were able to test the new inverter over the last 4 weeks with great results. The inverter's off-grid capability allowed us to test for two weeks with no grid connection, in winter and it didn’t skip a beat. The new firmware has been implemented and tested and the inverter is also compatible with the new Amber Electric SmartShift Technology.

Looking Towards the Future

We eagerly anticipate its market release in early September. This product has great potential in the Australian market, and we’re excited to be among the first to offer it to our customers!
