Businesses can apply for grants ranging from $2,500 to $50,000, with the requirement that applicants match the funding amount. Up to 8,000 small businesses could benefit from this round of the ERF, which has a total allocation of $20 million. These funds can be used for a variety of energy-saving investments, including:
- Upgrade your solar panels and batteries.
- Replace old equipment with high-efficiency models, such as 4-star air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, and dishwashers.
- Invest in technology that improves energy efficiency across your operations.
- Make your heating and cooling systems more efficient
